Menu Design That Reads Like Your Restaurant

A menu built around what you actually want to sell — not a Word document that got printed.

The problem

The menu was laid out years ago, prices have been patched over twice, and the dish with the best margin is buried at the bottom of a column nobody reads. It's the one piece of marketing every single customer looks at.

What we do about it

We rebuild the menu around your economics: the items you make money on get the visual weight, the layout follows how people actually read a page, and the whole thing looks like the room it's sitting in. You get print-ready files and, on the full suite, matching specials and takeout sheets.

What you get

  • Custom menu layout and typography
  • Item hierarchy built around your margins, not alphabetical order
  • Print-ready PDF, correctly sized and bled for your printer
  • Two revision rounds
  • Editable source file so seasonal price changes are cheap

How it works

  1. 1

    Intake

Send your current menu, item costs or at least your best-margin dishes, any photography, and a photo of your dining room.

  2. 2

    Layout strategy

We map which items get prominence and why, and confirm the plan with you before any design work starts.

  3. 3

    Design

First design within five business days, then two revision rounds to settle wording, pricing, and photography placement.

  4. 4

    Print handoff

Final files matched to your printer's specs. We'll quote printers for you if you'd rather not chase them.

Questions we get asked

What decides whether I'm at $100 or $175?
Mostly item count and how much structure the menu needs. A 20-item pizza menu sits at the low end; a 60-item menu with sections, allergen notes, and a wine list sits at the top. You get the exact number after the consultation, before any work starts.
Do I need food photography?
No. Plenty of strong menus use none. If you want photos and don't have good ones, we'll tell you honestly whether yours help or hurt — bad food photography costs you orders.
Can I make my own price changes later?
You get an editable source file. If you have someone who can use it, changes are free. If not, seasonal updates are $40–$60.
Can you print them?
We coordinate with print shops and check the proof, but you pay the printer directly. That keeps the markup out of it.

Other services

Ready to talk about menu design?

It's a real conversation, not a sales pitch. We'll look at what you're doing now, tell you honestly what we'd change, and give you a price. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you that too.
